Join our Virtual Community Advisory Board

We are building a program to better connect young adults involved in the criminal legal system to mental health, substance use, and overdose prevention support.

We are forming a Community Advisory Board to help shape this program, and we’re looking for people with lived experience to guide this work.

 

The role of the Board Member:

  • Participate in about 8 virtual meetings in the first year, 2 virtual meetings per year in following years, and review materials in between these meetings
  • Offer perspectives on how to strengthen the e-Connect tool to best engage people with lived experience
  • Receive compensation for being part of the Board, at $50/hour for meeting time and prep time

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Enthusiasm for participating in the Board and contributing your viewpoint
  • No specific educational or professional background is required; all training will be provided
  • Prior experience on a Board or committee is not required
