About Us

Our faculty is conducting cutting edge translational research on the neural and psychosocial mechanisms that maintain substance use disorders and that underlie behavior change in treatments. By doing so, we aim to advance clinical practice through the development of novel treatments. We are developing innovative research methodologies that integrate laboratory and clinical approaches to evaluate promising pharmacologic, behavioral and device-based interventions. In addition, we are advancing methods for implementing evidence-based therapeutic practices in the community. A further research mission is to advance methods for educating and training clinicians about treatment of addictions.
