
Overview
Nicole Pacheco, MD is a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at Columbia's Women's Mental Health Program. Her clinical focus is on treatment and evaluation of psychiatric disorders throughout a women's reproductive life cycle including menstrual related disorders, perinatal mood disorders, fertility difficulties, child loss, and menopause. Dr. Pacheco provides both psychopharmalogic management and therapy based treatment. Dr. Pacheco serves as a volunteer instructor at the New York State Psychiatric Institute where she supervises and teaches residents in women's mental health. Dr. Pacheco has also been heavily involved in work around medical student education disparities and is the founder of the June Jackson Christmas Fourth Year Medical Student elective that supports students from underrepresented backgrounds in medicine to complete rotations at Columbia Psychiatry.
