Maximilliam Alexander Cabrera, M.D.
Overview
Maximilliam Cabrera, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Emory University School of Medicine before transferring to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine for his adult psychiatry residency. Dr. Cabrera then completed a fellowship in Reproductive Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine.
Dr. Cabrera has a particular interest in treating patients in the LGBTQIA+ community. Currently, he is undergoing training in Adult Psychoanalysis at Columbia University. His approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, with the goal of helping patients develop a deeper understanding of themselves in order to live more fulfilling and self-directed lives.
