For Families

Family Navigation

What is Family Navigation?

Family Navigation is a free service focused on supporting parents in finding resources and services for their newborns. The services are associated with outreach as part of a grant to study developing infants (PROGRESS).

What services are available for parents?

Depending on your child’s needs, the following resources are available:

  • Early intervention: A free program for newborns - 3 years old who present with developmental needs. This may include speech, physical, or a variety of therapy.
  • Speech therapy: Support in improving language, communication skills, and pronunciation.
  • Physical therapy: Support in increasing body movement and functionality.
  • Individual therapy: Improves mental and emotional well-being.
  • Parent classes: Free or low-cost classes are available virtually to support parents in improving skills or learning more about topics such as behavior management.

Please see our resource videos to learn more about family navigation and resources.
