We invite you to join us for a Pride Month event on Thursday, June 29th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Columbia University's School of Nursing's Rooftop for a screening and panel discussion on the film My Name is Pauli Murray.

This film is about Pauli Murray, a non-binary, Black lawyer, activist, poet, and priest who influenced both Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall and argued the equal protection clause of the fourteenth amendment which outlawed discrimination based on sex.  The documentary is based on Rosalind Rosenberg’s book “Jane Crow: The Life of Pauli Murray”.
