Research in the Division of Gender, Sexuality, and Health is conducted through approximately 40 individual studies involving more than 100 investigators from disciplines including psychology, psychiatry, public health, anthropology, sociology, and social work.

Particular emphasis is placed on issues relating to prevention, treatment, and care for HIV/AIDS both in the U.S. and globally, and on the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) children, adolescents, elders, partners, families, and communities.
