Accepting New Patients

Overview

For the past 30 years, I have dedicated a large part of my professional life to helping adults and children deal with illness, dying and loss in my teaching, writing, supervising and centrally in my clinical practice.

An adult, adolescent and child psychiatrist, Dr Lister has a therapy practice and is a consultant at schools across the country when there is a death in their community. She has written and spoken widely on the topic of grief in professional and general public arenas.

Dr Lister has written a book published in 2022 called Giving Hope: Conversations with Children About Illness, Death and Loss that helps adults talk with children about death. She has an earlier book called I Will Remember You: A Guidebook Through Grief for Teens.
