Overview

Quadrina Noori, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology (in Psychiatry) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at the ColumbiaDoctors Neuropsychological Evaluation Service. She specializes in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with diverse neurodevelopmental conditions, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, communication disorders, specific learning disabilities, and co-occurring emotional and behavioral challenges. She also has experience working with children who have a history of complex trauma, with particular attention to the neurocognitive and emotional sequelae that can emerge from early adverse experiences. In addition, Dr. Noori supports pediatric patients with medical complexities, particularly those navigating the cognitive and psychosocial effects of oncology and hematology-related conditions.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Noori contributes to research on rare orphan diseases, including Hunter syndrome, by consulting with families and collecting in-depth information on adaptive functioning and developmental history to inform a more comprehensive understanding of these conditions’ long-term outcomes.

Utilizing a developmentally informed, multidisciplinary framework, Dr. Noori provides nuanced diagnostic clarity through comprehensive evaluations that reflect the full scope of each child’s neurocognitive functioning. She translates assessment findings into individualized, evidence-based recommendations that guide targeted educational planning and intervention strategies, supporting positive developmental outcomes across home, school, and community settings.

Dedicated to bridging research and clinical practice, Dr. Noori collaborates closely with families, educators, healthcare professionals, legal advocates, and interdisciplinary teams to provide thoughtful, compassionate treatment that advances holistic development and supports sustained, meaningful progress over time.
