One of the forms of anxiety known as fear has also been studied in depth and one of the forms of anxiety is fear... Fears begin very early from infancy on... There are certain types that are typical of certain ages and stages. Infants might fear sepration and strangers. As the child is moving towards 4 and 5 years of age, they start to fear small animals...

One of the main questions that comes in is, Is my child having an anxiety disorder situation or is it something that is going to pass? We expect children and adolescents to have spikes of anxiety at different points in time - spikes in anxiety because it's exam period...These types of spikes in anxiety are pretty transient and are usually associated with a circumscribed event.
